Review For Movie Elemental
The filmmakers behind "Elemental" might have done better to commit to a single portrait and been more fearless about avoiding familiar oratory, but small steps are progress too.Nicolas Rapold-New York Times
The insightful contrasts within the aggregate picture make up for the film's leisurely pace and lack of narrative propulsion.
Inkoo Kang-Village Voice
Inspirational. It finds just the right balance between entertaining the audience and provoking them emotionally and intellectually.
Avi Offer-NYC Movie Guru
Portraits of three environmental activists and the challenges they face in trying to change people's mindsets and spur them on to help stem the tide of ecological disaster.
Frederic and Mary Ann Brussat-Spirituality and Practice
Three eco-activists walk it like they talk it, in a documentary that doesn't have to preach or overload us with statistics to get its message across. Meanwhile, its sobering images of despoiled natural resources vividly speak for themselves.
